It got all Broken Social Sceney last night. We had an impromptu late night jam session at my apt. Besides those in the photo there was Joey, April, Peter, Tarin, and Bree. (All band photos by Joe G., I think. Last photo by Mike B.)

1.Money Mike on vox, Mike B. on keyboard 2. Cip (happy b-day) on Vox, James on Bass 3. Jason on the skins 4. It is a custom to throw a baby carriage at the end of each of our sets. Usually there is a baby in it. But it was late.

After all was quiet. I slipped out for one final breath of air before the sun came up (notice the police in the background, noise complaint maybe?).

I know I'm not going to get points for originality for this one but I think its pretty clear that I have devastated James' wimpy 5 pencil density test with my 15. And that includes two mechanical pencils and a pen.

This is how I spent a rainy Saturday afternoon. I know,it's not a Harley, but it is still pretty manly to strip an engine, even if it is a scooter's engine. And seriously, even I was impressed at how goddamn thick my beard looks in this photo.

Fame Comes In 3s

You're up...Then you're down...and then you're up again boys. After appearing in the Philadelphia's Metro, and being trash talked in Philebrity Philadelphia's sadly desperate version of Gawker, you've now climbed to new heights. Although you get no write up, you at least get associated through linkage along with another some what like minded blog which seems to be taking the mustache to new levels of ridiculousness, in a good way.

Mystery Celebrity Beard 1

Ok folks, here's the deal. We have hit the end of our 3rd month of the Beard Competition. People are starting to say things like "this will never end". While that may be true, it made me start to think of ways to spice up the site a little.

Mystery Celebrity Beard will be a weekly game that everyone is invited to play. Just post your guess and the first person to get it right wins. There may be prizing involved but I have not figured that part out yet. So, for now just play for fun. Please.

Matt week 9 (pic 2)

Cooper said to me "Matt can I be in your beard photo?" I said "Well, Cooper, that could be dangerous, I'd have to hold you as well as the newspaper and that is tricky." "Please! It will be fine." I thought it over for a few moments and then I gave it. "Ok, Coop but you have to hang on." That was when it all went wrong. Cooper, perched in the nook of my elbow, began to slip. "Hang on." I said. "I'm slipping, Matt, help me!" There was nothing I could do. In a flash it was all over. All I could hope was that the photos came out. Luckily for me they did. Cooper, however did not have such luck. And will be recovering at the Grand Street Animal Clinic for several weeks. Get well soon buddy.
